About Basirix
Building clinical AI around the realities of care.
Basirix is an early-stage clinical intelligence company developing AI-assisted tools for radiology, structured reporting, and anatomical analysis. We are starting in Pakistan, where high imaging demand, limited specialist capacity, and infrastructure constraints make thoughtful workflow design essential.
Prototype and clinical validationWhy Basirix exists
A medical scan is only the beginning of a clinical decision. Before that decision can be made, a study must enter the right worklist, reach the right specialist, be interpreted in context, and be documented clearly. When any part of that chain slows down, the delay affects clinicians, institutions, and patients.
Basirix was created to address that gap. Rather than building AI as a separate destination, we are developing a clinical intelligence layer that can support triage, reporting, and anatomical understanding inside the radiology workflow.
Our approach is modular and clinician-led. We focus on practical tools that can be introduced step by step, evaluated in real settings, and refined through direct clinical input. The goal is not to replace professional judgment; it is to give specialists better support for the work that requires their expertise.
Mission
To develop responsible clinical intelligence that helps radiology teams move from medical scans to clear, actionable decisions with less workflow friction.
Vision
A future in which every healthcare system—regardless of geography or infrastructure—can access dependable tools that strengthen diagnostic capacity and keep clinicians at the center of care.
The principles guiding our work
- 01
Clinicians stay in control
AI-generated signals and drafts are inputs for professional review, not substitutes for it.
- 02
Evidence comes before scale
We validate clinical relevance, usability, and technical performance before making broad claims.
- 03
Design for real infrastructure
Products must account for connectivity, legacy systems, cost, and operational constraints.
- 04
Build for interoperability
Clinical tools should fit into existing imaging and information workflows rather than create another isolated system.
- 05
Protect trust
Privacy, traceability, and clear communication must be part of the product from the beginning.
Our approach
From clinical need to deployable workflow.
Discover
Speak with radiologists, physicians, diagnostic operators, and health-system stakeholders to understand the real bottleneck.
Define
Translate workflow friction into focused product modules with clear clinical and operational boundaries.
Develop
Build and calibrate prototypes for triage, structured drafting, segmentation, and geometric analysis.
Validate
Evaluate usability, resilience, workflow fit, and model performance with appropriate clinical partners.
Integrate
Prepare for standards-based connection with imaging and hospital systems while maintaining clinician oversight.
Purpose-built clinical intelligence
Basirix combines medical-image analysis, segmentation, geometric modeling, and clinical language systems to create structured outputs from imaging studies. The technical roadmap includes local and cloud processing, visual overlays, draft reporting, and integration patterns based on established healthcare data standards.
Technology is only useful when it fits the workflow. Basirix is designed around reviewability, traceability, and the daily realities of clinical teams.
